We have a great solution for inventory scanning using a low cost refurbished Symbol laser data terminal.

The complete kit includes a mobile laser scan gun pre-loaded with our easy to configure software.

The inventory scanner allows you to scan "SKU" (stock keeping unit, your part # etc), and optionally, you can turn on "QTY", and three other fields that you name. Advanced features allow you to setup any of the 3 additional fields to be "remembered" fields for auto-input of repetitive data.

Once you get the data scanned in, you can download to the PC and get a .csv file which can be imported into many database programs, systems, or, most popular, import it into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

While it is a great way to take physical inventory it is simple. Each file you get from the gun is a new file, it doesn't "Update" the data on the PC and it doesn't TRACK your inventory, it simply allows you to scan your stuff, import it into the PC and you handle it from there!

Once you download your data, you can simply open it with Excel, Access, or import it to any other system that accepts industry standard comma delimited files (CSV files).

What does 'refurbished' mean? Refurbished means, it is a used unit, but it is tested and warranted.

Can we use multiple guns for team inventory? Yes, you can use unlimited units, each .CSV file created is unique

Are there battery options for large groups? Yes, we have 4 bay gang chargers with batteries

Does it require any programming? No, you simply hit 'Y' or 'N' on fields, and enter custom field names.

What if we drop the unit and it breaks? All repairs are covered under the warranty period, except screen breakage
