The complete kit includes a mobile laser scan gun pre-loaded with software.  The inventory scanner software allows you to scan/key input and download to your PC.   Also included in the software are advanced features including three 'user fields' you can name as well as scan time/date stamp option.

Please note that this is not a large inventory system to manage your business, rather it is a simple tool for inventory scanning.  After you setup the gun, you simply scan and/or key your data, download it to the PC, and use it as a spreadsheet, or import to Access database.  Only the data you scan or key will show up on the PC, and it does not come with software for the PC to manage the data.  It is simply, "Scan, key, download to PC".  You must manage the data on the PC in Excel spreadsheet, Access database, or import into your own system, many of which will accept industry standard .csv files.
