 Warranty 

New equipment is warranted by BarCodeTrader Inc for out of box failures only.  Once you begin to use the equipment

it must be repaired by the manufacturer, under their warranty program.  Used equipment is warranted fully by

BarCodeTrader Inc for 30 days, or can be extended to 1 year, depending upon the product, and will be repaired for any

reason, except obvious customer abuse, which is defined as screen breakage, case breakage or other severe trauma inflicted

upon the equipment which is not normal use.

 

 Software pre-loading and imaging 

If you would like your equipment pre-loaded with your software, please submit your data file as an attachment with

your instructions.  If you think you would like this service but are not sure how to obtain your software, or you have

questions regarding versions, operating systems or other, contact us  Software Support 

 

 Repair and Support 

Hardware repair:  Existing customers on a maintenance contract or existing customers requesting hardware

repair may submit a service request on-line, and track the service order:  Service

Troubleshooting or software issues:  Please contact us, and include a daytime phone number

as we will need to discuss the issue directly in order to diagnose the problem.  Software Support

 

 Rental Equipment 

Rental equipment is warranted to work for the rental period.  Hardware repairs will be treated as warranty repairs

and downtime will be credited back as extra rental time, however, no refunds will be made for downtime.  Rental

periods are weekly and monthly.  You must order equipment advance of your requested start date to allow for

shipping, configuration, and testing by your staff.

 

 Email and Login 

We utilize your email address as your login, as well as a means of notifying your of order status and shipping

information.  If you have changed your email address, please contact us directly and we will make the changes

for you.  Your old password will remain the same-->  Change email
